Born in Kolin, Czech Republic. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts with Professor Frantisek Tichy from 1948 to 1953. After graduation, he continued studies with famed surrealist, Professor Frantisek Muzika. He participated in the International Invitational Seminar of Art in 1964 at Farleigh-Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey, and exhibited in New York during this 6 month period in the United States. He died on the 28th of August, 1968 in an automobile accident.
