Renato Casaro is an Italian illustrator. 1951 â€“ 1952 he studied a graphic apprenticeship in Venice/Italy. In 1953, at the age of 19, he moved to Rome, doing voluntary work at Studio Favalli, which was at the time, the most famous agency for movie campaigns. In 1955 at the age of 21, he opened his own studio in Rome, becoming the youngest movie-painter in Italy. His first commissioned movie-poster was Romeo and Julia. The following years lead to intensive work on international movie-campaigns for the big names of the movie-scene: Leone, Lelouch, Coppola, Petersen, Bertolucci, Rosi, Besson, Zeffirelli, FaÃŸbinder and the majors in LA and NY.
