Born in Valencia, Spain, April 12, 1937; migrated to Cuba in 1941. Before the revolution, Bachs worked in television and advertising. He then began doing animated drawings and posters for the Cuban Film Institute (ICAIC). His posters have been used for "Cuban Film Weeks" all over the world, and he has participated in over 140 national and international collective exhibitions. He had won numerous prizes in national and international competitions.
